Football Player Welsh Athlete Ramsey Boosts Bounty for Missing Canine in Mexico to $$20k
Welsh athlete Aaron Ramsey has increased the bounty for leads about his missing canine Halo to $20,000.
The former Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who currently represents the Mexican club Pumas in the capital, revealed that the beagle was observed in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato region.
The beagle, who vanished on October 9th, was wearing a tracking device, and Ramsey posted a map pinpoint of where she was last seen.
"Any sort of updates regarding our beloved Halo please contact us. Significant bounty for finding her. We are all wishing she is unharmed and will return to our side soon," Ramsey shared on social media.
Initial Reward and Emotional Pleas
The footballer initially announced that Halo had vanished two weeks ago and has subsequently posted several photos of the beloved dog on Instagram.
A $10,000 bounty was first provided, but with absence of information on Halo's status after a week, Ramsey and his loved ones raised the amount.
"We just want Halo returned," he stated in a further request on social media after the decade-old dog was lost.
The latest picture share is a monochrome snapshot of Halo napping, her head resting in the bend of Ramsey's elbow, with the message: "What I'd do to cuddle you one last time Halo."
Family's Worries and Context
Ramsey has also posted a note from his spouse Mrs. Ramsey on online channels saying they have a few "important questions" surrounding the disappearance and worry the household "might not get explanations".
"To this day we have not located our dog. I fear we will ever," the spouse's update expressed.
The Welsh skipper became part of Mexico's premier club Pumas UNAM recently and made his debut in Liga MX in August.
The Caerphilly-born athlete is the pioneering prominent British Isles player to participate in the Mexican league.
