British Airways announced that this complimentary, “fast and dependable” wifi offering through SpaceX is set to be offered for travelers in economy, premium economy, or first class as of the coming month.

The umbrella organization for British Airways, International Airlines Group, confirmed it had finalized an partnership with SpaceX for providing wifi coverage on 500-plus planes within their carriers, including Aer Lingus, the Spanish carrier, and the low-cost airline.

British Airways noted that the rollout of the system formed part of a multi-billion pound “transformation” program that will offer smooth wifi access for passengers starting at boarding to arrival, even when they are flying over seas or far-off locations.
